A Level Results Day – 16th August 201816/08/18
Meopham School is celebrating yet another successful year for Sixth Form students. Suzanne Dickinson, Headteacher, said, “We are thrilled with the excellent examination results achieved by our Sixth Form students this year.” Head of Sixth Form, Jenny Vik, added, “It is fantastic to see so many smiling faces, knowing that our students are now able to begin the next stage of their lives with a solid set of qualifications behind them.”
The school have a number of individual success stories. Tom, who achieved four A-Levels in Business, Economics, Finance and Psychology said, “I’m so pleased with my results, especially my A grade in Finance and my B grade in Economics”. Twins Phoebe and Imogen were celebrating achieving six A Levels between them, including both achieving strong passes in A Level Mathematics. Phoebe, who also achieved an A* in Art, said, “We have both worked so hard to achieve these results. I am delighted that we are now able take up our places at the same University. I will be studying Architecture and Imogen will be studying Comparative Literature and French”.
Another student who achieved brilliant results, Luke, said, “I am so happy with my results, especially my Distinction in Business and B grade in Finance.” Luke has secured an apprenticeship working for the Ministry of Justice in Westminster, London.
Suzanne Dickinson, Headteacher, added, “We are immensely proud that our students continue to excel in both their academic and vocational studies. This is testament to their hard work and dedication, and that of our staff”.
